and that is what i think of time

i don’t know, i feel like talking more than usual. i’m not sure i have any more to say. last week or the week before i sometimes walked around with this thought in mind: “this image of me finally standing on solid financial ground might just be the years of plenty, when i was barely making it; i am so just barely making it. anything could happen in a day or two days or lord a whole week of days. a good old best friend i hadn’t talked to in a long time the other day asked me what my “like, 5-yr plan was,” and I told him I definitely knew what was going on Saturday and Sunday and that I was pretty committed for Monday, but I wasn’t really sure about next week at all, in fact didn’t really see how I would ever make rent, and that that was the only thing i really thought about in terms of my future. it shouldn’t surprise him; i’m doing exactly the kind of thing i would want to be doing. he shouldn’t be alarmed. i am happy. i will do this as long as i can. i hope he knows this. i hope this means something to him and to you as well, dear dear. everyone should know this about everyone else. you know, where you are in terms of how you’re feeling. i mean, what the thing means to you or what you want it to mean and what your’e trying to do about it. we’re all here to help. we all have invested interest. this is where we stand, and this is what we stand for.
